Interviews are one of the most common elements in documentary production yet many fall short in capturing the most powerful performance from their subject.  An experienced documentary cinematographer/producer conducts this three-hour class in which you will learn an holistic approach to interviewing.  You will learn how to capture beautiful looking and sounding interviews along with the best possible performance from your subject.  In this workshop we will use the Panasonic HPX170, the Letus Extreme adaptor, Nikon Zoom Lenses, Westcott Spider Lights and Sennheiser cardioid mics plus the new Canon d7 outfitted with Nikon Optics.
