Master the tools of filmmaking, and become a more effective advocate for the issues you champion . This Workshop will leave you feeling comfortable with the technical side and give you a strong start on understanding the language of film.

A very cool little camera has come onto the market, it has all the options you need to create high quality video and sound.

Each student will get a camera and a mic for him or her to keep.

We will use these tools to go threw the process step by step:

-Capturing Video and Good Sound

-Loading that Media on to your Computer (see below)

-Editing a sequence, and basic titling.

-Out putting and uploading to the Web

As we go we will look at the creative side of the process,

-How do we make the best possible shot for a given situation?

-What role does sound play in our creation?

-How do you structure a sequence so that it engages and persuades the viewer?
